Module identity and core specs
The Omron CRT1-MD16SL is a DIN-rail-mounted I/O module providing 8 digital inputs and 8 solid state outputs, wired via spring-cage terminals. It is designed for use with Omron CJ, CS, and NJ series controllers, making it a direct-fit remote I/O slice for those platforms. Solid state outputs carry no moving contacts, so they tolerate frequent switching without the mechanical wear of relay outputs. Approved to CE, NK, and UL standards, covering industrial control panels and marine applications.
Mounting and wiring
Mounts on DIN rail; spring terminals accept solid or ferruled stranded wire and eliminate screw-torque checks during build. Operating temperature range of -10°C to 55°C covers typical control cabinet environments without supplemental cooling.
