Module fit for sourcing
The CRT1-OD16: Sixteen solid-state outputs, DIN-rail mounted, rated for CJ, CS, and NJ series base units. The solid-state switching eliminates contact wear, so the output count you see on the BOM is the count you get for the life of the panel — no mechanical relay replacement cycle to budget for.
CP1W-32ET — not a drop-in
The 32-output CP1W-32ET sits in the CP1W series and mates with CJ and CP1 base units. The CRT1-OD16 is a CJ/CS/NJ-native part with half the output count. If the panel layout was built around the CRT1’s 16 solid-state channels, dropping in the CP1W-32ET means rewiring the field terminations and verifying base-unit compatibility — the terminal assignments and I/O bus mapping are different. The spectrum doesn’t lie: a swap takes more than just matching the DIN footprint.
