16 solid-state outputs on a DIN-rail slice
The Omron CRT1-OD16S is a 16-channel solid-state output module for the CRT1 remote terminal series, mounting directly onto a DIN rail. The 16 solid-state outputs switch DC loads without mechanical wear, making it a fit for high-cycle applications like sorting or packaging lines where relay replacement costs add up. It is compatible with CJ, CS, and NJ series controllers, so it drops into existing Omron backplanes without a gateway swap.
Approvals and operating range
CE and cULus approvals cover European and North American installations, so it passes most panel-level certification audits without a separate agency review. The termination uses a rectangular connector plus screw terminals — the connector handles the fieldbus cable, the screw terminals take the field wiring.
