The CRT1-OD16S-1 is a 16-channel solid-state output module from Omron's CRT1 series, designed to switch DC loads in a control cabinet without the mechanical wear of a relay bank. The 16 solid-state outputs handle the on-off cycles of solenoid valves, indicator banks, or small motor contactors where cycle life matters more than contact rating.
This module is listed for use with Omron CJ, CS, and NJ series controllers — the same backplane protocol that powers the CRT1 remote I/O line. The operating range of -10°C to 55°C covers most panel interiors without forced cooling; if the cabinet sits in direct sun or next to a drying oven, budget a derating margin above 50°C.
