The Omron CRT1-OD16TAH is a 16-point solid-state output module in the CRT1 series, designed for use with CJ, CS, and NJ series PLCs. Each output is switched via solid-state relays, offering fast, silent switching with no mechanical wear. Mounts on a standard DIN rail and connects through a rectangular connector and screw terminals rated for panel wiring. Operating range covers -10°C to 55°C, suitable for most control cabinets. Same class, different bus — CP1W-32ET comparison
The CP1W-32ET (also 32-output solid-state) looks similar on paper but is tied to the CP1 PLC family. Two key differences: output count (32 vs 16) and series compatibility — CP1W modules only work with CP1 and CJ series (not CS or NJ natively). A panel wired for CRT1-OD16TAH on CJ/CS/NJ will not accept a CP1W module without a different backplane or adapter.
