What the CRT1B-MD02JS does in the rack
The Omron CRT1B-MD02JS is a compact I/O module that adds one digital input and one solid-state output to a CRT1B-series remote I/O rack. The single digital input handles a standard 24 VDC discrete sensor or switch signal. The single solid-state output switches a DC load without the mechanical wear of a relay — useful for a solenoid, indicator lamp, or small contactor coil where cycle life matters.
DIN-rail mounting with screw terminals keeps wiring straightforward: strip the field cable, land it under the screw clamp, and torque to the terminal rating. The module snaps onto the rail without a separate mounting plate.
