The Omron CS1D-CPU67P is the top-end processor in the CS1D series, built for dual-CPU redundant or high-availability control systems. Its 448K-word program memory and capacity for 68 modules across 7 racks make it the right choice when the application needs more I/O and data handling than the CJ2M or CP1L family can deliver. Communication ports are RS-232C and USB, which covers program uploads via CX-Programmer and basic serial connectivity to HMIs or drives. No built-in Ethernet. Approvals include CE, cULus, and NK — the NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) marine classification is a strong signal for vessel automation or offshore applications where the CJ2M's Lloyd's and NK approvals also apply, but the CS1D's redundant architecture is the differentiator.
The active status means lead times are predictable through the standard Omron supply chain.
Programming is done in CX-Programmer. The 448K-word memory supports ladder, ST, and SFC code.
