Fit and function in the CS1D rack
The CS1D-ETN21D is a Communications Module for Omron's CS1D redundant CPU series. It mounts on the backplane and connects via a single RJ45 port, giving the redundant controller a standard Ethernet link for programming, monitoring, or peer-to-peer messaging. Approvals include CE, cULus, Lloyd's Register, and NK, so the module is suited for industrial control panels in general manufacturing as well as marine and classification-society applications. Operating range is 0 to 55 °C.
Integration notes
Mounts on the CS1D backplane via a communications-capable slot; the RJ45 port provides a communications link over 0–55 °C.
Documentation and compliance
The module holds CE, cULus, Lloyd's, and NK approvals. Omron typically includes a declaration of conformity with the shipment. For specific regulatory submittals (RoHS, REACH), request the latest compliance certificate at RFQ time.
