The Omron CS1D-IC102D is a dual control module from the CS1D series, built for backplane-mounted redundant control within CS Series PLC systems. Carrying CE and cULus approval, it is designed to plug into a CS1D rack as a hot-swappable CPU or controller — the kind of module you specify when a single-point failure on the controller bus is not an option.
Fit and alternatives
If your panel is built around an NX-series backplane, the CS1D-IC102D will not mount — the CS1D form factor and backplane keying are different from the NX-PD7001 or NX-PG0242-5. Stick with CS1D-series modules for a CS Series chassis.
