CPU capacity and expansion limits
The CS1G-CPU42H holds 64K words of program memory. Expansion tops out at 30 modules across two racks. Mounts on the CS1 backplane, same footprint as the higher-end CS1G units. RS-232C and USB ports are physically identical across the CS1G family, so a swap from a 42H to a 45H doesn't rewire the panel — just watch the module count if the build exceeds 30.
Lifecycle and compliance
Product status is active per Omron's lifecycle records; no end-of-life announcement on file. Sourced through standard distribution, quoted to order against an RFQ. Carries CE, cULus, Lloyd's Register, and NK (Korean Register of Shipping) approvals — covers European, North American, and marine applications without separate certification runs.
