What it is and what it does
The Omron CS1H-CPU65H is a CS1H-series PLC CPU with 128K words of program memory, expandable to 80 modules across 7 racks, communicating via RS-232C and USB. It mounts on a backplane (same rack as I/O, special function, and communications modules) and is programmed using the CX-One software suite.
Integration notes
Communication ports are RS-232C and USB. RS-232C covers programming and connection to legacy HMIs or serial devices; USB handles fast program downloads. Expand via the backplane to up to 80 modules (7 racks) without extra interfacing.
