What This Module Does in the Rack
The Omron CS1W-B7A12 is an interface module that brings 32 digital inputs into a CS Series PLC rack. It accepts a 12 ~ 24 VDC supply and terminates field wiring through screw terminals on the front face — no special cabling, just standard screw-clamp connections for the 32 channels.
Wiring and Mounting Constraints
Mounts directly to the CS Series backplane — no DIN rail required, no separate power supply module needed for the input side. The screw terminal strip accepts the field wiring; each of the 32 digital inputs lands on its own terminal, and the 12-24 VDC supply powers both the module and the input loop.
