What this module does
The CS1W-DES96-DRM is a DeviceNet master communications module for the Omron CS1 PLC platform. It manages up to 96 nodes on a DeviceNet fieldbus network, handling both explicit messaging and I/O data exchange between the PLC CPU and remote DeviceNet slaves — drives, valve manifolds, sensor clusters, and I/O blocks.
Panel integration fit
This module mounts directly into a CS1-series CPU rack or expansion rack slot. The backplane connector is keyed to the CS1 rack; the module draws its power from the rack backplane.
Packaging and ordering
Supplied in bulk packaging — no individual retail box, just the module in an anti-static bag or tray. This is standard for OEM and panel-builder volume orders; for single-unit spares, confirm the packaging is acceptable for your stockroom handling.
