The Omron CS1W-EIP21S is a Communications Module for the CS Series PLC rack, mounted directly on the backplane and powered by 24VDC from the rack. An onboard display provides status indication for network diagnostics. Termination is via a single RJ45 port. Approved to CE, cULus, Lloyd, and NK standards, suitable for industrial and marine applications.
Mounting and power
The module installs into any free slot on the CS-series backplane. The 24VDC supply is drawn from the rack; no external power wiring is needed. The RJ45 port supports standard Ethernet cables; use shielded cable for noisy environments.
