The Omron CS1W-IDP01 is a 16-point digital input module for the CS Series PLC. It seats on the CS Series backplane and connects field wiring through screw terminals.
How It Compares to CS1W-IA211
The CS1W-IA211 is an analog input module with the same Series, Package, Mounting Type, Termination Style, and Approvals — but its Input Type is 16 Analog, not Digital. The backplane connector and screw terminals are physically identical, so the module will seat and wire into the same slot, but the PLC must be configured for analog input addressing, and the field devices must output analog signals. It is not a direct functional replacement for a digital input module. If your panel was built for CS1W-IA211, the CS1W-IDP01 will not read analog sensors; the reverse is also true.
