Module Profile – 32/32 Mix on the CS Series Backplane
The Omron CS1W-MD261 is a mixed I/O module for the CS-series programmable controllers, providing 32 digital inputs and 32 solid-state outputs in a single backplane-mounted package. It connects via a rectangular connector and carries approvals from CE, cULus, Lloyd, and NK, making it suitable for marine and industrial control panels.
Mounting & Integration – Backplane Fit
Mounts directly onto a CS-series backplane; no DIN rail required. The rectangular connector mates with the backplane's I/O bus. Termination is via the connector—no screw terminals on the module itself. This module occupies one slot; verify the backplane's current capacity when mixing with other I/O and CPU modules.
