I/O module for CS Series backplanes
The Omron CS1W-MD262 is a combined input/output module that packs 32 digital inputs and 32 solid state outputs into a single backplane slot on the CS Series rack. It mounts directly to the backplane and connects via a rectangular connector, so the wiring bundle runs to a single header rather than individual screw terminals.

With 32 digital inputs and 32 solid-state outputs, this module delivers 64 I/O points per slot — useful when the rack is tight and you need to pack mixed I/O without dedicating separate input and output modules. The solid-state outputs handle higher switching frequencies than relay outputs, so inductive loads like small solenoids or contactor coils switch cleanly without contact bounce.
The module carries CE, CSA, Lloyd, NK, and UL approvals, covering industrial control panels in European, North American, and marine-classed installations.
