What the Ratings Mean
The CS1W-PTS01-V1: Four analog inputs: each channel reads a thermocouple directly. The listed types (B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T) cover the vast majority of industrial process measurements – kiln exhaust, preheater temps, clinker cooler. If you need Type U or marine certification (NK), look at the CS1W-PTS11 sibling. Backplane mount plugs into the CS Series rack; screw terminals handle field wiring. Operating temperature is 0°C to 55°C.
Where It's Used
This module lives in an Omron CS Series rack, typically in process control applications: cement plants, refineries, chemical lines, or any facility that monitors multiple thermocouple points. The four channels handle things like kiln zone temps, furnace zones, or extruder barrel profiles. CE and cULus approvals cover most industrial installations globally.
