Integrator’s first look
The Omron CS1W-PTS11 occupies one slot in a CS Series backplane, bringing four analog inputs dedicated to thermocouple temperature measurement. It accepts Types B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T, and U — including the less common Type U (Cu-CuNi). Terminal strips are fixed screw type, same grid as the power-supply and CPU modules in the rack. Operating range 0–55 °C, CE and cULus listed, with NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) approval for marine environments.
Mounting and wiring notes
Fits any CS Series rack backplane slot. Screw terminals connect thermocouple wires; cold-junction compensation is internal.
