Slides into any vacant slot in a CS1 rack — no tools, no drivers. Serial pinout matches the standard Omron DTE configuration; set port parameters in the CPU's I/O table (baud, parity, stop bits). Bond the shield at the PLC end only to keep ground loops off the backplane.
