The Omron D4A1105N is a plug-in limit switch from the D4A series, built for industrial position sensing where you need a rugged, sealed package. It's a momentary-action SPDT switch with a roller lever actuator — no actuator included in the box, but the boot-sealed actuator is included, so you're ready for washdown environments right out of the gate. The IP67 rating and NEMA enclosure ratings covering 1, 2, 3, 4X, 5, 6P, 12, and 13 mean this switch handles everything from dust and dripping water to hose-down and temporary submersion. Out here in the grease, that's what keeps a limit switch from dying on a washdown cycle or a wet conveyor line. The aluminum body and screw terminals give it the mechanical backbone for high-vibration spots — shock resistant per the spec, with a 60° pretravel and 20° overtravel that gives you some forgiveness in cam or dog actuation setups.
AC contact rating is 10 A at 250 V. DC contact rating is 0.4 A at 250 V DC, 0.8 A at 125 V DC, 10 A at 14 V DC, and 6 A at 30 V DC. If you're switching a 24 V DC solenoid or indicator lamp, the 6 A @ 30 V rating gives you headroom. But don't try to switch a 250 V DC motor contactor coil at 10 A — the 0.4 A limit at that voltage is the real constraint.
Mounting and Mechanical Fit
Surface mount with two 0.2-inch mounting holes spaced 59 mm vertically and 29 mm horizontally center-to-center. The body is 1.73 inches deep, 1.65 inches wide, and 2.97 inches tall — a compact footprint that fits standard limit switch mounting patterns. The roller lever actuator is side-mounted, with directional movement both CCW and CW. Operating torque is 3.54 in-lb maximum, so it won't trip on light contact but will actuate reliably from a cam or machine stop.
