The D4B4516N is a metal-housed limit switch from Omron's D4B series, fitted with an adjustable roller lever actuator. The slow-action contact block provides a 1NO/1NC configuration, switching up to 2 A AC at 400 V or 400 mA DC at 250 V. The 9.4 N operating force gives a positive snap-over feel, and the IP67 rating means the switch body and actuator seal against dust ingress and temporary immersion — suitable for washdown zones on food processing or packaging lines where hose-down cleaning is routine.
Mounting and wiring considerations
Screw terminals accept stranded or solid conductors; the metal housing provides mechanical robustness for high-vibration environments such as conveyor transfer points or machine tool guards.
