The Omron D4CC1024 is a compact, aluminum-bodied limit switch with a side-mounted stainless steel roller lever actuator. It uses a momentary SPDT contact block rated 1 A at 125 V AC, and connects via a 4-pin M12 connector. The IP67 rating and NEMA 3, 4, 13 enclosure ratings mean it handles washdown and dust ingress — suitable for packaging, conveyor, or light machine-tool limit sensing where coolant mist and occasional hose-down are present.
The 1 A @ 125 V AC contact rating is for resistive loads; in a control circuit driving a PLC input or small relay coil, that's plenty of margin. The SPDT form gives you both N.O. and N.C. in one body, so you can wire a safety interlock and a status signal from the same switch. Pretravel of 10° ± 3° and differential travel of 3° mean the switch responds to a small lever movement and resets with minimal hysteresis — useful for precision position sensing on a cam or slide. The aluminum arm and body, combined with a stainless steel roller, take the radiant heat and occasional scale dust you'd see near a mill stand or furnace approach table. The fixed arm (1.84 in max length) and fixed roller are not field-adjustable, so verify the cam profile before mounting. Surface mount with two 0.2 in holes; the M12 connector simplifies replacement — unplug the old, plug in the new, no hardwiring in a hot panel.
