Omron D4F1023D Limit Switch, Roller Plunger, 1NO/1NC, IP67

The D4F1023D is a roller-plunger limit switch from Omron's D4F series, carrying a 1NO+1NC slow-action contact block. The 12 N operating force is firm enough to resist vibration false-triggers on a machine guard but light enough that a cam or sliding door won't stall against it. IP67 sealing means the switch body and the cable entry hold up under washdown — suitable for food processing or outdoor conveyor lines where hose-down cleaning is routine. Switching capacity tops out at 750 mA AC (240 V) or 270 mA DC (250 V). That's a signal-level contact, not a motor-load contact — think PLC input, relay coil, or indicator lamp. The 500 VDC insulation voltage gives margin in 24 VDC control circuits, but the real limit is the switching current; don't plan on driving a contactor coil directly without checking inrush. The 3 m cable termination is molded on, not field-replaceable. If the cable gets damaged on a line, you're swapping the whole switch — factor that into spares planning for high-wear zones.
