Hands-on for the wet line
The E2A-S08LS02-M5-B2 is an inductive proximity sensor from the E2A series, built to handle the spray and foam of a beverage filler. IP67/IP69K rated, so it shrugs off the washdown. 1.5 kHz response frequency keeps up at line speed for bottle presence on a high-speed conveyor. Output is PNP-NC, 3-wire, so it pulls the signal low when the target is absent. The 2mm sensing range is short but reliable for ferrous targets like can lids when mounted flush. Supply from 10 to 32 VDC, common for control cabinets. Connector termination keeps field wiring quick when a line is down.
Mounting notes
M8 threaded stainless steel body, shielded design permits flush mounting in metal. The 2mm sensing distance means target standoff must be tight. Use the included indicator LED for setup confirmation.
