Compared to the flush-mount sibling E2AS08KS02WPD12MOMS, this non-flush variant offers double the sensing distance (4 mm vs 2 mm) but at a slightly lower switching frequency (1 kHz vs 1.5 kHz). The mounting difference is the critical factor: if your panel was designed with holes for a flush-mount sensor, the non-flush version will not simply drop in—the sensing distance will change and the required free zone around the sensing face is different. Plan for a full mounting review before substituting.
Integration & mounting notes
M8 threaded barrel, stainless steel housing rated IP67 and IP69K. Wiring is via a 2-pin stranded pigtail. Operating range: 10–32 VDC, 200 mA switching current. The 13 mm cube footprint (13 x 13 x 40 mm) fits compact panel layouts, but the non-flush requirement means the sensor must not be countersunk into metal—plan for a clearance zone around the face.
