Inductive sensor for wet environments
The Omron E2AS08KS02WPD12MOMS is a flush-mount M8 inductive sensor with a 2 mm sensing range, normally-open output, and switching frequency up to 1.5 kHz. The stainless steel housing and IP67/IP69K rating let it take the caustic CIP and high-pressure washdown you find in a brewery packaging line or dairy filler. Flush mounting keeps the sensor face level with the target surface—useful for detecting metal caps on a starwheel without protruding into the product lane.

Flush-mount installation in washdown zones
The M8 threaded barrel accepts a stainless steel lock nut for flush mounting—use stainless to avoid galvanic corrosion in wet areas. The 2-wire stranded cable exits the rear; strip and terminate inside the control cabinet rated to IP67 or higher.
