This E2B-M12KN08-WP-B1 5M is an inductive proximity sensor in the E2B series, with a threaded M12 cylindrical body, unshielded face, and a PNP-NO 3-wire output. It runs on a 10V to 30V supply—typically 24V—and delivers a normally-open switch that closes when metal enters the field. Mounting and Wiring Notes
M12 thread fits standard holes; use the included nuts or mount in a bracket. Unshielded design means no flush mount requirement—keep the sensor tip free of surrounding metal within the specified sensing zone to avoid false triggers. For IP67 integrity, ensure the cable entry is properly glanded and the sensor threads are sealed with pipe tape or a gasket if mounted through a panel. The nickel-plated brass body resists corrosion in washdown zones.
