The Omron E2B-M18KN16-WP-B1 2M is an M18 unshielded PNP normally-open proximity sensor with a 16mm sensing distance, pre-wired with a 2m PVC cable in a brass barrel. Being unshielded, it requires a non-flush installation — the sensing face must extend past any surrounding metal or be mounted in a non-metallic zone to avoid false triggers and maintain full 16mm range. PNP output (sourcing) pairs directly with PLC sinking inputs; NO operation means the output is off when no target is present.

M18 threaded barrel, brass, short-body form factor. Use standard M18 mounting hardware. Unshielded design requires clearance to avoid metal interference.
