What the ratings mean for fit
The 10 mm sensing distance is specified for a standard mild-steel target; actual range will shift with target material and size. Shielded construction allows flush mounting in metal—no extra spacing needed for side-wall influence. The long body (barrel length) gives you threading depth for thick panels or bracket stacks without nut interference. PNP output with M12 connector: sinking the load means the sensor sources current.
