The Omron E2BM12KN08WPB12MOMI is an M12 inductive proximity sensor from the E2B series, built for non-flush mounting with an 8 mm sensing distance. Output is PNP normally open (make contact), switching at 800 Hz and rated for 200 mA continuous load current. It operates on 10–30 VDC, draws 10 mA quiescent, and is pre-wired for direct connection — no connector to source separately.
Non-flush mounting means the 8 mm sensing range is measured from the sensor face, not the surrounding metal — you get the full 8 mm even when the barrel is partially countersunk in a steel bracket. The 800 Hz switching rate handles fast-moving targets on a small conveyor or spindle; at that speed a 200 mm/s target is seen every 0.25 mm of travel.
Pre-wired termination saves a panel-builder step — no M12 connector to crimp or seal. The 47 mm barrel length fits standard M12 mounting clamps; non-flush mounting requires a 12–15 mm standoff from any ferrous bracket face to avoid derating the sensing field.
