Sensor fit and output logic
The Omron E2BM12KN08WPC12MOMI is an M12 threaded-body inductive proximity sensor from the E2B series, rated for 8 mm sensing distance in a non-flush mount configuration. The NPN normally-open output switches a 200 mA load, and the 800 Hz switching frequency handles moderate-speed part presence or position detection on a conveyor or machine station. Operating range is 10–30 VDC with a 10 mA no-load current draw. The brass nickel-plated housing and IP67 rating mean this sensor survives washdown on a food or beverage line — it handles high-pressure spray but not full CIP immersion. Pre-wired cable termination simplifies field replacement: no connector to mate, just strip and terminate in the junction box.
