The Omron E2BS08LS02WPB12MOMI is an M8 threaded-body inductive proximity sensor from the E2B series, designed for flush mounting in metal. It detects ferrous targets up to 2 mm away and switches at 1.5 kHz — fast enough for counting or position sensing on a moderate-speed conveyor or indexing station. The stainless steel housing and IP67 rating mean it survives coolant splash and washdown on machine tools or packaging lines. Output is PNP normally open (make contact), sourcing 200 mA at 10–30 VDC. Fit and mounting constraints
Flush-mount rated — the 13 mm hex body installs into a drilled hole in steel or aluminum with no derating of the sensing distance. The 2 mm detection zone is measured from the face; for a standard 1 mm target plate, the sensor reliably picks it up at that gap. Repeat accuracy is 10 % of the sensing distance (0.2 mm), tight enough for most position-detect or part-present applications. Overall length is 64 mm from face to cable exit. The 2 m PVC cable is fixed — no quick-disconnect option on this variant.
