The Omron E2C-EDA11 is the amplifier unit for the E2C-EDA series high-precision positioning inductive proximity sensors — the brains that condition the sensor signal and provide a digital display of incident levels, thresholds, and peak holds. It runs on a 12 to 24 VDC ±10% supply (ripple under 10%) and delivers an NPN/PNP open collector output rated at 50 mA max, 26.4 VDC max. That output stage holds a clean <1 V residual voltage at full load, so it drives PLC inputs or small relays without a pull-up resistor hunt.
The digital display can be configured to show incident level + threshold, percentage + threshold, peak/bottom level with output update, a long bar display, or peak hold — entirely menu-driven, no dip switches. For commissioning, you can set thresholds live by watching the incident bar while the sensor head positions the target.
