How it sits against the E2C-X1R5AH
The E2C-X1R5AH is a heat-resistance model with an M8 threaded head, shielded, and requires a separate amplifier unit (E2C-AM4A or E2C-AK4A). Its sensing distance is 1.5 mm versus 3 mm here, and its output goes through the amplifier, not a direct PNP line. They are not drop-in interchangeable. If a machine originally used the E2C-X1R5AH assembly, wiring and mounting geometry differ completely — the E2E-C04N03-WC-B2 2M cannot slot into that panel without rewiring and changing the mounting fixture.
What's in the box — and what isn't
The box contains exactly one sensor, pre-wired with 2 m of PVC cable. No mounting nuts, no brackets, no documentation inserts. The 4 mm smooth body needs a plastic or metal clamp holder (not included). If you're building a kit for a field tech, bracket and clamp should be added separately — no holes in the box, but don't expect the mounting hardware.
