The Omron E2E-C06S02-WC-C1 2M is a shielded inductive proximity sensor with a 2 mm detection range, NPN-NO 3-wire output, and a 3 kHz response frequency. The 2 mm sensing distance, when shielded, allows flush mounting in metal panels without sacrificing detection performance — a common requirement for machine-tool sensors. Supply range is 10–30 VDC.
