The Omron E2E-X10B1D30 2M is an M30 threaded shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series. It delivers a 10 mm sensing distance with a PNP normally open output on a 2 m prewired cable. Rated for 10–30 VDC, it supplies up to 200 mA to the load. The body is nickel-plated brass with a clamping-nut and toothed-washer kit included. Operating temperature spans –40 °F to 185 °F. Environmental sealing is IP67, IP67G (oil-tight gland), and IP69K (high-pressure washdown). Features include oil resistance, vibration resistance, and Prox3 hybrid circuitry for stable operation under thermal drift.
Cable vs. M12 — the only meaningful decision fork
The E2E-X10B1D30-M1 is the same shielded M30 inductive sensor with an M12 quick-disconnect connector instead of the 2 m bare-wire cable. Sensing performance, body dimensions, output circuit, and environmental ratings are identical. There is no functional substitute. If your panel was specified around the -M1, dropping in this prewired version means either cutting off the cable and fitting an M12 field-attachable connector or rewiring incoming leads. The reverse holds for the -M1 onto a cable-only installation. Plan the termination method before committing the BOM line.
