The E2E-X10D1-M1 is a shielded inductive proximity sensor from Omron's E2E series, offering a 10 mm sensing range with a DC 2-wire normally open output. It comes with a standard M12 connector for quick disconnect, and the shielded construction allows flush mounting in steel.
Compared to the sibling E2E-X2D1-M3G (2 mm range, M8 connector), the E2E-X10D1-M1 provides a longer detection distance but uses a different connector style. If your panel is wired for the M8 connector, an adapter or cable change is needed. The output configuration (DC 2-wire, normally open) is the same, so the electrical load interface is compatible, but the sensing range and mounting footprint may require re-evaluation of the target and bracket.
