Sensor fit and wiring notes
The Omron E2E-X10D1-M1J-T 1M is a shielded M30 inductive proximity sensor with a 10mm sensing range in a nickel-plated brass body sealed to IP67 — suitable for flush mounting in metal panels and washdown environments. Output is NPN-NO, 2-wire, so a single cable pair carries both power and signal; the sensor pulls low when a target is within the 10mm detectable zone. Supply voltage is 10-30 VDC, and the cable with connector (1M length) eases replacement or initial wiring. Switching frequency is 400 Hz, which limits the sensor to applications with moderate target speeds — faster lines would need a lower-response variant.
