Inductive sensor for position detection of ferrous metals
The E2E-X10MC212-R 5M: The 10mm sensing distance is rated for unshielded mounting, giving the full detection range without flush-to-metal derating. IP69K means it survives high-temperature, high-pressure washdown cycles in food or beverage lines. The NPN-NC output is normally closed, so it opens on target presence — a fail-safe choice for conveyor jam detection or valve position verification.

Mounting and integration
M12 threaded barrel, unshielded — mount in non-flush applications to achieve the full 10mm range. Cable leads 5m, supply 10-30 VDC, LED indicator for on-site status. Response frequency 400Hz is adequate for counting below 400 cycles per second; above that, consider the 8mm 800Hz sibling.
