This sensor has an SCR (thyristor) output that switches AC loads from 20 VAC to 264 VAC. The NC output is ON when no target is present. Note that because this is a 2-wire SCR output, it is not compatible with DC supplies or transistor-based PLC inputs without an interface relay. Verify your control voltage type before specifying.
Mounting and environment
The M18 threaded body (nickel-plated brass) mounts with two jam nuts or a bracket. Unshielded construction gives the full 10mm sensing range but requires non-ferrous material-free zone around the face — standard practice for flush mounting in steel demands a shielded variant. Cable leads (2 meters, typically) terminate in a junction box or directly to a terminal; no quick-disconnect option on this version. IP67 rating allows installation in washdown zones and outdoors, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C suited for cold storage or hot machinery.
