The Omron E2E-X18MC2L30-M1 is an inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, built in a standard M30 threaded cylinder. It detects ferrous targets at up to 18 mm without shielding, making it suitable for applications where flush mounting isn't required and the sensor face can stand off from the target. Output is NPN-NC (normally closed) with a three-wire DC configuration, supplied over 10–30 VDC. The 100 Hz response frequency handles moderate-speed sensing lines; the part is suitable for detecting parts at conveyor speeds or counting cycles in packaging machinery.
