Selection notes for the E2E-X18MF2-M1
The E2E-X18MF2-M1 is a DC 3-wire PNP proximity sensor with an 18 mm sensing distance, unshielded construction, and a normally closed switching output. Unshielded construction means the sensor does not require an external damping ring for flush mounting; install with the standard non-flush spacing as specified in the mounting guidelines. The normally closed output—active when no target is present—provides a fail-safe logic state for lost-target detection in interlock circuits. Verify that your controller's input expects a sinking or sourcing signal; the PNP (source) output supplies a positive voltage when active.
