Mounting and wiring
The E2E-X1B2 2M: Shielded construction permits flush installation without a dead zone at the sensor face. The fixed 2-meter PVC cable provides reach for nearby mounting brackets or machine frames. Wire in three conductors: brown (V+), blue (V-), and black (PNP NC output) per standard DC 3-wire convention.
Not a cross to E2C-X1R5AH
The E2C-X1R5AH belongs to a separate series that requires an external amplifier unit (E2C-AM4A or E2C-AK4A) and uses an M8 threaded sensor head with 1.5 mm sensing distance. It is not a second-source replacement for the E2E-X1B2 2M. The two series differ in output architecture, wiring, and mechanical mounting.
