The Omron E2E-X20MD1 2M is an inductive proximity switch from the E2E series, unshielded, with a 20 mm sensing distance and DC 2-wire normally open output, terminated in a 2 meter PVC cable. The DC 2-wire output simplifies field wiring to two conductors. Unshielded construction means the sensing field extends sideways, so allow clearance from metal beyond the rated distance when flush mounting isn't required.
