The Omron E2E-X2B1TL8-M1 is an E2E NEXT series M8 shielded inductive proximity sensor with a 2 mm sensing distance. Output is PNP normally open on a 3-wire DC configuration, terminated with an M12 connector. It supports IO-Link at 230.4 kbps, allowing parameter adjustments and diagnostic data retrieval from the controller.
Fit and integration
Shielded construction keeps the 2 mm range stable when flush-mounted in metal, while the M12 connector eliminates hardwiring to allow swapping without new cable; IO-Link runs at 230.4 kbps.
