The E2E-X2B212-M1 is a shielded 2 mm inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, outputting PNP normally-closed via a 3-wire M12 connector. The shielded design lets you mount it flush in a steel target plate — no need to gut the whole mounting block to accommodate a non-flush barrel. Rated for -40°C to 85°C and sealed to IP67 and IP69K, this sensor will hold up to washdown cycles on a packaging line or coolant splash on a machining center. The 1.5 kHz switching frequency keeps up with high-speed part detection — spindle speed or pick-and-place rates.
