The E2E-X2C1L8 2M is an Omron E2E NEXT inductive proximity sensor in a shielded M8 threaded cylinder. It switches from 10 to 30 VDC, sinking (NPN) normally open at 2 mm — a short gap suited for precise metal target detection in confined spaces. The stainless steel body carries IP67 and IP69K ingress ratings, so it survives washdown environments common in food and beverage or pharmaceutical lines.
