Response frequency 1.5 kHz is adequate for moderate-speed sensing. Three-wire NPN-NC: brown supply, blue ground, black output. Normally-closed means output sinks when target is absent. Cable leads are molded — no connector to swap. Mount through M8 threaded hole; shielded design limits sensing to the face only, so flush mounting in metal is allowed.
