Shielded M12 prox, NC output, 2 mm range
The Omron E2E-X2D2-M1G is a shielded DC 2-wire proximity switch from the E2E / E2E NEXT series, wired normally closed and fitted with an M12 connector (IEC arrangement) for rapid replacement in control panel or machine wiring. The shielded body allows flush mounting in metal panels without derating the sensing distance. Rated sensing distance is 2 mm, typical for a small-diameter prox on ferrous targets. The DC 2-wire output simplifies wiring — two wires carry both power and load, with polarity sensitivity as marked on the connector.
